I have 15 years’ experience delivering payroll and accounting services to staffing companies and contractors. My focus at Atom is ensuring we provide a brilliant and personal service to those who wish to contract or freelance in the UK and internationally.

I live in SW London with my wife and two boys. Most weekends I’m at either the rugby or cricket club with my boys or working in my garden, listening to music. In another lifetime I’d loved to have been a filmmaker, chef, gardener… or professional cricketer!

I’m a qualified management accountant and have worked in the Umbrella/recruitment sectors since leaving university. My most recent role was as finance director for a start up all the way through to it’s trade sale in 2021.

I’m excited to form Atom and am focused on providing an efficient and compliant payroll solution for temporary workers whilst offering excellent service for contractors, agencies and end clients.

I’m a keen sports goer and avid Evertonian season ticket holder……for my sins!

I am a chartered accountant with 15 years’ experience owning and operating payroll and accounting companies providing services to contractors.

My hobbies are anything classic car related including taking part in road rallies (with my wife as the long-suffering navigator!), attending shows & events and reading just about every monthly car magazine that is available. When I’m not doing any of those I enjoy walking/hiking holidays, lying on a beach or ‘chillaxing’ sipping a negroni.

In any spare time, I love reading, pencil drawing, and painting!

I have over 40 years’ experience in Financial and Payroll positions within Manufacturing, Media, and Construction settings. Also, I have had 15 years’ experience working with Umbrella Companies. I offer a calm unruffled approach and always manage to keep a sense of humour. I am passionate about delivering excellent customer service.

My hobbies include watching international rugby and Body Combat, which is a series of mixed martial art inspired workout sessions.

With circa 49 years’ experience working in the personal tax field, 32 of which were spent in the Inland Revenue/HMRC. I managed to escape in 2008 my final role there being a tax inspector. Although I am way past retirement age, I am a somewhat of a workaholic and was humbled to be asked to join Atom having worked with many members of the current team in the past who I regard as friends rather than colleagues. My main driver has always been, and will continue to be, to provide the best in customer service.

I am a Chartered Accountant having spent 34 years as an audit partner at Deloitte after completing articles whilst studying part-time for my university degree. Latterly I’ve worked as a self-employed business consultant and am now actively involved in international payroll & accounting for expats in Africa.

After a hard day’s work, you’ll find me sipping an ice-cold beer or a glass of red wine whilst keeping up to date on the financial affairs of the world. Other than that, my hobbies include scuba diving, playing racquet ball or squash and leisurely walks.

I originally studied Computer Science and worked as a Cobol and Natural/Adabas programmer. I then turned my hand to accounting/bookkeeping and payroll and worked independently providing these services. In addition, I have owned 3 owner-managed businesses over the years (all to do with wine and cheese).

I am a huge lover of wine, not only to drink, but also the history, growing and making side of it. I am an aviation and airplane enthusiast and enjoy watching any kind of motorsport, as well as tennis and cricket.

I have always lived in Southern Africa and currently live in Swakopmund, Namibia which I find I have a natural affinity with.

I’m passionate about people and fostering strategic customer partnerships and driving sustainable business growth tailored to the unique needs of each market.

On the weekend you will find my son and I in the ocean soaking up the rays on our surfboards.

My corporate journey started at a small tech company, and I eventually moved into payroll services for contractors. Outside of the office I’m a mom to a ridiculously sporty son and probably too many dogs. So, any spare time is spent on the side of a rugby field, or a swimming pool come rain or shine.

I am an admitted attorney, notary and conveyancer in South Africa, and an admitted solicitor in the United Kingdom and British Virgin Islands. I have specialised for the past 45 years in law, accounting, trade finance and real estate development in Sub-Saharan Africa and Europe where I have found that the various legal qualifications that I hold in the different countries have given me a broad base when it comes to understanding laws and practices in other territories.

I’m actively involved in the personal development arena, this passion having been sparked by a psychology degree that I undertook in later life and am a part-time university lecturer. Any other spare time I have is taken up spending time with my children and grandchildren, walking, travelling and reading.
